Climate Change: Farmer’s Peril and Food Scarcity

Food shortages are caused by unpredictable weather patterns and environmental changes that interfere with farming. These effects and potential remedies are examined in this article. Droughts and floods are examples of unpredictable weather that throws off crop cycles and farming schedules, resulting in lower yields and more uncertainty for farmers. The quality of the soil is reduced by rising temperatures and changing rainfall patterns, which makes the soil less productive and more prone to erosion. Agricultural productivity is negatively impacted by pests and diseases, which are more likely to spread in warmer climates. Food shortages are partly caused by reduced crop yields resulting from the combined effects of pests, degraded soil, and unfavorable weather.
